Ignacio Aravena Solis

Ignacio is a PhD student on applied mathematics (operations research) at CORE UCL, working under the supervision of Professor Anthony Papavasiliou. His current research is focused on evaluating the impact of renewable energy integration on the European electricity markets, by using very detailed models and the power of high performance computing. His research interests include energy optimization, renewable energy integration in power systems, stochastic and robust programming, and distributed optimization.
