Intervention at the 14th EU-US Energy Regulators Roundtable

On March 18, 2019, the 14th EU-US Energy Regulators Roundtable will be held at the headquarters of the Center for European Energy Regulators in Brussels.

The current themes of the EU-US Roundtable are regulatory independence, wholesale electricity market design (including nodal pricing), the future role of gas (in the context of decarbonisation) and energy market monitoring.

Confirmed speakers include: Annegret Groebel (CEER President), Nick Wagner (NARUC President), David Ziegner (Commissioner of the State of Indiana), Wolfgang Urbantschitsch (Vice-President of CEER), Anthony Papavasiliou (Université catholique de Louvain), Dermot Nolan (CEO of Ofgem, the energy regulator of Great Britain), Paul Kjellander (Commissioner of the State of Idaho), and Klaus-Dieter Borchardt (Deputy Director-General, DG Energy, European Commission).
